Today it is big deal, prime days, and I just thought for the podcast today I would just jump online with you guys and I'm sure you guys have all seen I just did an Amazon video of some of the accessories for 2024 that I think are gonna be the best hot tub accessories, but is prime day today, so there's actually some really good deals going on with some of the prime stuff. So I just thought I would jump on today. We would talk about that. I will have all the links down below in the description and if Some of them might not be live as we're going, because we're just gonna go through this, but for those of you just listening to the podcast, all the links are in the show notes and then you can also check the description on the video as well. Let's see what we can find as far as accessories go for hot tubs on sale today.

I don't know if you guys have noticed. These have been just everywhere, these hot tub scum absorbers. They're really cool. I did talk about them on the Facebook group, but what they are is they're like a fabric covered scum absorber and they actually. What they do there is they have a suction cup, they sit to the side and then and that I'll actually attach to this. Attach and get the scum ring off of that actually a really good thing. They've got these on sale for 19 dollars and that's saving me a good 10%, so those are a good thing to check out. Is that?

I would highly recommend the these generic packs of these scumbugs. I Would not buy those. What I have found with those is that they actually Start deteriorating relatively quickly and then get sucked down into the pump, so I don't feel that those are a good idea to do. So I wouldn't do those, but if you're going to do one, I would do the scumbug and We'll see if we can find that here in a second. But I'm just looking, looking as we go.

As you guys, if you type in hot tub accessories on Amazon and your prime members, you'll get some of these really good deals today. So those are what's showing up. So I'm going to see what we can find for our first really good deal this Bluetooth portable speaker that one there I've had several customers so it's got the light on the bottom of it and then it's got the cone and it floats and excuse me, but that works really good. This has been Overwhelmingly. Customers at the store think that this is a really good speaker, so I would definitely check that out as well, and it looks like They've got that on sale for $22. That's incredible. That's a really good deal. So $22 for that I would highly recommend that.

The next thing that I'm gonna find here Is we're going to find I Went through this earlier and there was some really good stuff Okay, these, this give me scoop. I Think this is the best accessory in my accessory video this week, but what it is is the section cup and it actually let's see if I can get that video going. So that's just a section cup, but it's a skimmer net that Sticks to the side of the hot tub. It stays in the hot tub all the time, but it's just a little tiny, itty-bitty skimmer net and I absolutely love this. I have one myself, but I really like it. So, like the dimensions of this are Let me see if I can find that they're like eight by ten, so it's about the size of a piece of paper, and you just put that in front of the skimmer of your hot tub and it works just incredibly well and I just, I really like that and that's on sale for only $15.95. So check that one out.

That's one, a really good one. I I don't have this yet, but this TubTec chemical bag. I think this is really great. In fact, I would like to get these for the store and hand them out as chemical kits. It looks like a really sturdy, nice bag and it's got compartments for your test strips and other things. It'll fit like the filter cleaning bottles with the spray on it. It looks like it'll fit full-size bottles. I've been eyeing this for a while now and I'm pretty impressed with it. I've been on their website many times, but the TubTec hot tub chemical bag, that's on sale for $31.00 and it's really $49.99. That one's a really good deal too. So I would definitely check that one out.

Let's see what else we can find here. This was on my video as well. This hot tub sign has got hot tub rules relax. Soak your cares away, bubbles, provided don't add your own. I just think this is really cute. That's on sale for $16.00, I think I saw that one's 15% off. It's on sale for $16.99. That's a good deal there. This bamboo table tray doesn't look like that's on sale, but that's an awesome accessory if you guys want to get one for your hot tub.

Let's see what else. There were a couple other things. My neighbors got these, these TikiTec portable Bluetooth speakers. Those are great. You can put them on TikiPols and then you can actually connect them. You can have five or six of them around so you have a stereo sound. That's actually a really good accessory to get for your hot tub as well. I have this sign hot tub rules relax. That's a good one.

This is the scumbug. These are the actual. If you're going to do scumbugs, this is the one I highly recommend. Is the actual scumbug one here. If you're going to do one, this by Rolokim, you guys, this is your number one accessory, that you guys, the number one link that you guys use for me. But it's a two pack. If you're going to use a scumbug of any sort, make sure you're using this one and not the generic ones, that there's a big difference, a huge difference on those. So keep that in mind as well.

This is a good deal on this. We sell those in these in the store the best way. They're selling it for the inflatables, but for $14, it's got the cleaning mat, the skimmer net and then a brush. That is a really good deal. I want to say last time I sold that at the store it was like $70 or something like that. So for $14.98, I would highly recommend getting that. And then there's a lot of stuff on here that I probably wouldn't get. These intrigued me. The floating wine glasses so you guys all know I like my plastic wine glasses, but these are 18 ounce and they float in their shatterproofs so they're pool side. I haven't tried just my regular glasses to see if those float, but they intrigued me. I think that's a good deal.

The booster seats be careful on the booster seats. Make sure you get. I'll have the link down below, but make sure you get the one that I get. The one that I have has been oh, that might even be it Nope, it's not but I've had it for four years and I just leave it in the hot tub and it does absolutely fantastic, so that's a good one as well. This hot tub mat we've got that on the Amazon accessory list. What happens in the hot tub stays in the hot tub. So if you check out the blog, that'll be on that. Let's see.

What else did I talk about today? Oh, they had some really good deals on some inflatable hot tubs. If you guys are looking to get an inflatable hot tub, I'm actually thinking about getting one for the garage, for I'm in the process of shooting my hot tub care course and I think I need one for inflatables as well. So I'm thinking about getting one just so that I can do one. It's a Coleman and it's actually a really good one. In. My microphone is falling. Excuse me for just a second. The beauty alive, isn't it awesome? Last time that happened, I had somebody that could take over the show for a second. But it's a Coleman and it's their number one seller and it's the one that I would probably recommend if I was going to sell one this one here, the Coleman sell spot. It's only $329.

Now those of us, if you live in South Dakota someplace, like I do, you're going to definitely need to put that in a garage. Is not going to be good for winter, but that's 45% off. I'm probably going to grab it today because we definitely need to. Like I said, I'm working on my hot tub care course and I would like to do a third one of. I'm doing salt water regular and then I do an inflatable one. That way everybody can get that taken care of. But that should be live by November. But that's a good deal. It's on the smaller side, but if you don't live in a freezing area you can put those outside. But here in South Dakota you would definitely need to put those in a garage. But I think I'm going to jump on that. In fact I'm just going to add that to the cart. Right now I think it's free delivery. You get it in two days. So I'm going to add that to the cart and we'll go from there on that.

Other things oh, the ink bird, digital thermometer. You guys I've. They have a really good deal on this today. Where's that? Oh, here it is. So this is great. I actually have one. I did a couple of videos on this, but it's on sale for $25. It's really $42.99.

But you just put a battery in the two areas. You put one in the display and one in the thermometer. You throw the thermometer out. There holds up great. The batteries last about five months and then you have to replace them. But it tells you what the temperature is in the house and it also tells you what the temperature is in the hot tub. And I didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal for me, because I've got the eye care and I've got the lights on the side of the hot tub that tell me it's ready. But that tells me the exact temperature and it just it's another layer of peace of mind. Now this only works. It's not like it's something that connects to your phone or something like that, but you can actually see in the house what the temperature of the hot tub is and with winter coming, that is something that you definitely want to check out. Let's check out the bucket heaters I didn't get to that to see if those were on sale. Oh, they are. So the bucket heater. So this is one of those things that you guys should all have for your hot tub for winter months in case of an emergency.

I actually bought this portable one because I wanted to do another video on that, but that one's on sale for $23.99. That's not the one I normally recommend. Let's see, do they have the one I normally recommend? Yeah, they do, but it's not on sale today. It's down to $35. The last time I looked it was 55. That's a good deal. I would probably jump on grab in one of those, just because they do sell out, and when you do need one, you need it now and not last week. That's a good one. And then, like I said, this one that's on sale for $25. I bought it last year just because I was gonna do video on it. I don't know how well it works, but that one's got a digital thermometer with it as well. But I do have it. It's in the garage, I just haven't done anything with it. So that's one that I would definitely check out.

The next one snow melting mats. Let's see if they've got any snow melting mats on sale, if you guys are gonna do anything for your hot tubs, you definitely want to get these. You just lay them out Again. I'm on year four. These are the ones that I get, these RHS ones. They are on sale but these have a little bit of texture on it mine do not but they're just like a giant heating pad. You put those out for your hot tub from the door to the hot tub. I just plugged mine in. I'll probably pull mine out here around November and I'll just leave it plugged in until March. And they don't. I don't even notice them on my electric bill. They're awesome that way and they work really well.

But I highly recommend those. That's a good deal on those. They aren't on the big deal sale, but that's what they've got going on there and let's see. Yeah, I did notice earlier that they have. There are some really good prices on some of these. I just haven't personally used them so I don't know how well they are. Like this one here's, that one's for stair tread so you can put that on your step, and that one actually has a daisy chain so you can plug them in together and stack them. That would be a good way to go. I should probably get those for my steps, but those are $119. So I would recommend that.

And the other big thing that you guys always get from me or get used my link is the drain pump, submersible pumps. Let's see what they have on sale for that. Now what you do want to get is you want to make sure you get one with a two inch hose. These all have just a regular hose, but there are some really good prices on some of these. Today. I've got some really good guests coming up here, so none of those are with the two inch hose, but they're good prices. They're like $55 in. The one that I normally recommend, $149. I'll put the link to the one that I normally recommend on here. That's a good price on $131. It is just a regular size hose and the trick to a really good hot tub pump is you want to make sure that it has the two inch hose on it and all of these are showing the prices good, but they're just all the regular hose, so they don't save you as much time. If you do the one with the two inch hose, you can get your hot tub drained in a matter of 15 minutes and I have a 450 gallon hot tub and oh, there's the one I normally have. And then the other thing that most people need, especially the used hot or the I'm sorry, especially the salt water hot tubs is the on the go water softener. Let's see if they've got those on sale at all. Looks like nah. They're about the regular price, so it looks like $2.30 or so. I do recommend them. You definitely want to have those. That's a big deal for the salt water hot tubs. Highly recommend getting those. Yeah, nothing too crazy on any of that. I did check out chemicals earlier before I got on with you guys. Today Wasn't any really great deals there, nothing that's all right. So that's the sub pump that I normally get. That is on sale for $137. That's a good price, you guys. That's about $100 off and I'll make sure that link is down below. I know it's in the blog post, that's in the description, but that it's the professional, easy travel collection.

The hot tub and pools. The merciful drain pump with a 25 inch hose. Again, I might not eat like year five or six on that. My neighbors borrow it when they drain their swimming pool. That's a fantastic thing, so I do recommend that's a really good one.

Another thing that I ate would recommend is this quick drain. Oh, where did it go? The quick drain? That's a non. It is like a two inch pipe for your hot tub and it's good old Nebraska good old Nebraska farm irrigation is what it is, and you just you literally pump it and then, once you pump, it drains the hot tub and it works incredibly well. Let me say I just had it, but I, if you guys check out the video that I just did there it's on I show you guys how to do it. But the quick drain spot works really good. It's two inches by 25 inches. I think that they're usually about $89, but if those aren't available on Amazon, they're definitely available on my website so you can get them. Get them there. But they work really well and what I have found is I started using those along with my drain, my the pump drain, cause that'll leave about an inch or two water in the hot tub and you have to bail that. But so if you start this at the same time A it helps drain it a lot faster, but it'll take it down quite a bit more, but the trick is there's got to be quite a bit of water when you start draining it, so that definitely makes a difference there. So make sure you guys check that out as well. And if you guys have any questions or anything that you are seeing on Amazon that you're like, oh gosh, this would be a really great hot tub accessory.

We were going to go check out hot tub chemicals, wanted to see if anybody's on bromine. That's a pretty good start price. On that Aquedoc starter kit I'm not familiar with that chemical. I don't know how good a quality that is and that's something you always want to check out on how good the quality actually is, cause there is some really bad stuff out there. These mineral sticks I don't know how far I trust them. That's pretty cheap. That's cheaper than I can buy them in the store. I don't think I would do that. I think you're better off sticking with the name brand on those the do.

Nothing is really jumping out at me on hot tub chemicals that you guys should be taking advantage of. Yeah, there's, yeah, nothing that's. I think most people have the best deals on it. Froggy's floating system that's a good price on that. 125 for the Froggy's floating system. That's that I would look at again. That skimmy scoop. That's my. I'm super excited about that one. That's a good deal. And yeah, guys, that's really what I got for the. It's really what I got for the accessories. I was hoping to have more for you. The DeWalt vac that's a good. Let's see if that's on sale. That DeWalt back that's been one of my new favorite deals. It's a shot back but it is literally just a battery powered and so it's light enough that you can actually take it in the hot tub with you and it's great for sucking foam off and doing all that. Oh, yeah, there's, we got that on sale for $112. That's a really good deal. Let me bring you guys back up to this. So it's regularly like 144 on sale, 159 in. It's on sale for $112. So that's a really good deal. I highly recommend that and that's good for. That's good for sucking the foam off of the hot tub, that's good for cleaning out the hot tub. It's good for vacuuming out my car. I just love it. It's not a huge deal, not a gigantic shot back. Most of the time you don't really need a gigantic shot back, so that's a good one.

Tennis balls let's see if those are on sale. Those are great scum absorber as well, and then you can also use those as a vent on the. You can use those as a vent on the hot tub to keep the hot tub cool in the summer. For those of you that live like in Arizona and that type of thing, they've got like some bags of them for $16. That's for a hot tub. Those aren't such a good deal. They do have them on sale for $394 over there, but that's not such nothing too exciting. My books those are always. You can always get the hot tub clarity book, that's that. You find that on Amazon as well. I don't have a special on it for this particular time around, but it is available and it's always good. All of that Subdrain storm oh, the storm shell TV shelter that would be a good one to be on sale today because those are not the least expensive. The storm shell yeah, it looks like so. A 32 inches on sale for $244. And that's 30% off. So I would, yeah, jump on that. I know when I bought mine it was over $400. So $244 for the outdoor TV enclosure and that's for your smaller size. But that's a good deal. And I tell you what I bought the cheapest TV when I put this up five years ago and I thought, oh gosh, this is. This can't really work in the winter, my hot tub or my TV's going to freeze. And it's been great. Tv's awesome, everything works awesome. So, yeah, that's a good one and it's on sale 30% off. So I would grab that while you're shopping today and let's see if I have anything else.
